My response from DirecTV

First off, great customer service. I don't get a response that quickly when I email the BBC. And they are so polite!

While we are unable to comment on upcoming programming decisions, we are always reviewing our programming options to make sure we bring you the best possible TV experience.
I have forwarded your request to DIRECTV management, who review every suggestion, inquiry and complaint for trends from our customers to determine what channels and programs should be considered.
In addition, whenever we add channels to our lineup, we release a statement to the press, so keep an eye on the news to find out about the newest channels or visit our web site at directv.com/pr

A different answer from the other one. Interesting. It's much more personalised and unlike a stock answer so it appears there are actual people on the other end.

This bit is the important part "forwarded your request to DIRECTV management, who review every suggestion, inquiry and complaint for trends from our customers to determine what channels and programs should be considered"

Our case will have more chance if we all send one. So tell your friends,, your families, your next door neighbours and your colleagues to get submitting! It takes a few seconds and doesn't cost a penny.

The last time I send one to DirecTV was a some time back. I'll send another one, to represent the Asian continent..haha.
