"Legend of the Seeker Fans Organize Fall 2010 Blitz to Ask for Cancelled Show's Return

A new round of fan-organized activities on behalf of Legend of the Seeker is stimulating renewed discussion of the show and its prospects for a return to production.
August 26, 2010 - Seattle, WA - Separate groups of fans of Legend of the Seeker are moving forward with new plans to raise visibility and support for the cancelled television series. Recent activities include raising $3000.00 for an advertisement in The Hollywood Reporter and organizing a multi-day show of support for the show at the Dragon*Con convention, which will be held in Atlanta, GA over the Labor Day Weekend.

Science fiction fans attending the upcoming Dragon*Con convention are invited to check out the Legend of the Seeker fan activities being organized by TheSeekerCast.com and other fan groups. Up to 500 poster tear-sheets promoting the show will be given out at the convention, as well as other promotional items designed and paid for by the fans. SaveOurSeeker.com, which has coordinated advertising efforts for the fan campaign to bring about a third season of production, has contributed promotional materials to the convention-attending fans."
