This weeks JBC

Once Starz showed great interest in Legend of the Seeker, but backed out at the last moment in order to focus on the programming it already aired. With the recent announcement that Starz will be aggressively expanding its lineup within the next 18 months, it's time for Seeker fans to strike once more!

Things to note in your letter:
SaveOurSeeker.com: More than $30,000 raised in support of the series.
Three ads (1, 2) in major entertainment publications (Variety, THR x2)
Bus Shelter ad
Hundreds of DVDs donated to public libraries in the US - with support from Terry Goodkind, Craig Horner, and Bridget Regan
Campaigning at fan conventions (several thousand iTunes downloads and poster giveaways, fan panels, costume parade, etc) - Dragon Con and ROMICS.
International fan videos: http://www.youtube.com/user/LOTSvideo
And much, much more!

Starz Customer Service: 1-866-888-4010

Call and politely request that they pick up Legend of the Seeker. If you're a Starz subscriber, assure them that if they acquired Legend of the Seeker it would ensure your loyalty for years to come. If you aren't a subscriber, tell them (truthfully or not) that you would subscribe if they picked up LotS.

You can also compare LotS to their popular Spartacus series, also produced by Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert, but please DO NOT bring up Andy Whitfield's cancer. Doing so is in bad taste, the JBC team strongly opposes such tactics.

Snail Mail contacts for the week of October 4th-9th.

Remember that your letter can simply be a brief note. As long as you're clearly requesting that the specified network pick the series up, it works. Quantity over quality works well, in this case.
